The Mark-10 G1061 Wedge Grips are designed for use with Mark-10’s force gauges and test stands. They are optimised for performing tensile tests on a wide variety of materials, including paper and film.
The Mark-10 G1061 Wedge Grips are available in different sizes and with serrated steel jaws or rubber jaws. The capacity of the grip is also dependent on the model, for further information regarding the differences between the Mark-10 G1061 Wedge Grips, please see the following table.

The Mark-10 G1061 Wedge Grips’ jaws have been designed to prevent jamming and to improve grip. To this end, the jaws are mounted on rollers and do not slide along the surface of the housing like traditional-style wedge grips.
An ergonomic rack and pinion lever mechanism ensure that the Mark-10 G1061 Wedge Grips’ jaws can be opened easily and smoothly.
Finally, these ergonomic, fully enclosed and versatile Mark-10 G1061 Wedge Grips feature a thru slot able to accommodate samples of unlimited width.
