Mark-10 WT3-201 Manual Wire Crimp Pull Tester
The Mark-10 WT3-201 Manual Wire Crimp Pull Tester can be used to measure the pull-off force of crimped wire and tube terminations. The ergonomic lever enables the application of up to 200 lbF (1000 N) of crimp pull force while its adjustable wire terminal grip enables testing of wires with diameters up to AWG 3 (0.25”/ 6.3mm). It is compatible with most wire insulation types.
The Mark-10 WT3-201 Manual Wire Crimp Pull Tester has a sample rate of 7000Hz and provides real-time force and peak-force measurements. Readings are visible on the large, backlit LCD display, as is an analogue load bar, which provides a graphical representation of the applied force. Moreover, the Mark-10 WT3-201 Manual Wire Crimp Pull Tester offers programmable set point indicators, PASS/FAIL limits and outputs, and audio alarms and key tones, as well as selectable measurement units. Settings are password-protected to prevent unauthorised or accidental changes.
Data can be saved to the internal memory: the Mark-10 WT3-201 Manual Wire Crimp Pull Tester has the capacity to store up to 1000 readings. Measurements may be transferred to a PC via a USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo (Digimatic) or analogue output. Additionally, when the sample breaks, the Mark-10 WT3-201 Manual Wire Crimp Pull Tester will automatically save and output data as well as zero itself. This helps to automate testing.
Finally, the Mark-10 WT3-201 Manual Wire Crimp Pull Tester includes mounting holes for bench mounting.
