Mark-10 WT3-201MU Motorised Wire Crimp Pull Tester
The Mark-10 WT3-201MU Motorised Wire Crimp Pull Tester is specifically designed for measuring the pull-off forces for wire and tube terminations. It has a maximum range of 200lbF (1kN) and is compliant with a range of standards for destructive testing such as UL, ISO, ASTM, SAE and MIL.
Additionally, the Mark-10 WT3-201MU Motorised Wire Crimp Pull Tester can be used for non-destructive testing. It can perform tests, such as pulling to a load or maintaining a load for a specified period of time, in accordance with UL 486A/B requirements (these are OPTIONAL functions).
In addition to selectable test, approach and reverse speeds, the Mark-10 WT3-201MU Motorised Wire Crimp Pull Tester can be programmed to include pass/ fail limits. The Mark-10 WT3-201MU Motorised Wire Crimp Pull Tester will show a green light when the wire sample has passed; it will show a red light and issue an audio alert when the sample has failed.
The Mark-10 WT3-201MU Motorised Wire Crimp Pull Tester is able to accommodate wire sizes up to AWG 3 (0.25 in/ 6.3mm OD) and is able to test most insulation types. It is possible to save up to 500 test setups using the Profiles function (OPTIONAL function), thereby improving testing efficiency. Settings are password protected to prevent unauthorised alteration.
Once the wire sample has been inserted, the Auto Start function will begin the test without any user input. Furthermore, when the wire breaks, the Mark-10 WT3-201MU Motorised Wire Crimp Pull Tester will auto-reverse as well as automatically output the peak force, save the peak force and zero the display. Again, this improves testing efficiency and increases testing throughput.
The Mark-10 WT3-201MU Motorised Wire Crimp Pull Tester will measure the real-time and peak force values; these can be saved to the Mark-10 WT3-201M Motorised Wire Crimp Pull Tester’s on-board memory. Up to 2000 readings with statistics calculations can be saved to the Mark-10 WT3-201M Motorised Wire Crimp Pull Tester’s memory. There is also an option to save this data with a date and time stamp.
Data can be outputted to a PC or data collector via a USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo (Digimatic) or analogue interface. Once transferred to a PC with the MESUR™ Lite Data Acquisition Software (included) installed, data is tabulated and can be exported to MS Excel at the push of a button.
