The Megger TC256 combines high-resolution thermal imaging with wireless connectivity for fault-finding, condition monitoring and inspection work across electrical, mechanical and building systems. Its 256 x 192 infrared sensor captures detailed thermal data, while IR-Perfclear image enhancement improves edge definition and reduces distortion.
Designed for both on-site inspections and reporting, the TC256 supports live video streaming, IRGD video storage and direct transfer to PC analysis software or the Thermography mobile app using built-in WiFi. The integrated 2MP visual camera allows thermal and standard images to be reviewed together for easier fault identification.
The camera measures temperatures from -20°C to 550°C with automatic range switching and is suitable for identifying overloaded circuits, failing motors, poor insulation, moisture ingress, HVAC inefficiencies, solar PV faults and heat loss within buildings. Additional features include OTA firmware updates, a 2.4" colour display and a rechargeable battery for portable day-to-day operation.
