Made for use with metallic cables, the TDR500/3 is used for precisely locating cable faults over a wide distance.
Handheld and compact for ease of use, the TDR500/3 is suitable across a range of 5km/15kft (depending on velocity factor selected and the type of cable). It has four selectable input impedance (25, 50, 75 and 100Ω) and a velocity factor between 0.2 and 0.99.
The TDR500/3 is one of the only handheld TDRs on the market with a trace HOLD function, allowing the trace to be frozen on the screen for ease of use.
