SERIES 201 - Dial Snap Gauges
Mitutoyo dial snap gauges are designed for quick GO/NG judgement of the diameters of cylinders and shafts. Anvils are chamfered for easy workpiece insertion. The dial indicator is optional, enabling the user to choose from the wide range available to best suit the application.
- Flatness of measuring face: 1 µm.
- Anvil positioning range: 25 mm / 1".
- Indicator-anvil retraction stroke: 2 mm / .080".
- Wide (13.5 × 12 mm / 1.53 × 47"), flat carbide anvils.
- Clamp: clamps the setting anvil at the required position.
- Repeatability of indication: 2 µm or less (repeatability of indicators is not included).
- Adjustment nut: adjusts the setting anvil to the nominal size required within the measuring range.
- Designed for quick GO/NO-GO judgement of diameters of cylinders and shafts in machining processes.
- The dial indicator and protection cover are optional. Also, some dial indicators and protection covers cannot be used with the dial snap gauge. Consult Mitutoyo before using dial indicators which are not recommended.
