The Mitutoyo Series 422 Digital Blade Micrometers are suitable for measuring the groove diameter of shafts, keyways, and other hard-to-reach features. To this end, their anvils and spindles are blade-shaped. There are four types of blade shape available; types C and D have carbide-tipped measuring faces. Finally, the Mitutoyo Series 422 Digital Blade Micrometers include a Ratchet Stop to ensure a constant measuring force.
