The Moore & Wright 1961 Series provides external measurement in imperial and metric formats. The micrometers have a pearl chrome plated tapered bow frame with thermal insulation pads and tungsten carbide measuring faces. They also have a speeder-type ratchet, locking lever, and adjusting key.
The 1961 (0–1"/0.001") and 1961B (0–1"/0.0001") micrometers deliver imperial resolution, and the 1961M (0–25mm/0.01mm) and 1961MB (0–25mm/0.002mm) deliver metric.
