Designed for professional markets, the Pulsar Lexion XQ50 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is an infrared imaging camera suitable for safely and easily detecting suspicious behaviour. It delivers high-quality, high-resolution, richly contrasted thermal images with precise detail recognition even in situations with low thermal contrast or in adverse weather conditions, for example, rain or fog. This is due to the inclusion of an advanced NETD <40mK thermal sensor and uncooled micro-bolometric matrix with a 384 x 288px resolution (at 17µm). The video below offers an introduction to Pulsar’s Lexion Thermal Imaging Monocular Scopes.
Long Detection Range
A professional-grade thermal imaging sensor and powerful objective lens make the Pulsar Lexion XQ50 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope capable of detecting 1.8m-tall objects at a distance of up to 1800m in total darkness.
Stadiometric Rangefinder
The rangefinding reticle allows the user to determine the distance to targets with a known height (1.7m, 0.7m, or 0.3m).
Image Boost Technology
Software algorithms improve sharpness, detail, and clarity throughout the field-of-view, enhancing object recognition.
Eight Colour Palettes
The Pulsar Lexion XQ50 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope includes the following eight colour palettes:
- White Hot: suitable for most applications
- Hot Black: ideal for detecting wildlife at night
- Red Monochrome: reduces/ prevents bright backlight from escaping the eyepiece
- Sepia: improves long-range observation
- Red Hot: enhances temperature differences
- Rainbow: enhances temperature differences
- Ultramarine: enhances temperature differences
- Violet: enables faster object identification
High Image Frequency
The Pulsar Lexion XQ50 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope supports fluid thermal imaging of fast-moving targets due to its fast 50Hz frame rate.
Full-Colour AMOLED Display
Users can view fluid, flawless thermal imaging with a high resolution and crisp, richly contrasted field-of-view via the frost-resistant and power-saving AMOLED display.
Display Off
To aid with covert operations, the Pulsar Lexion XQ50 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope includes a Display Off function which prevents light from escaping the eyepiece between periods of observation. It does not affect other systems or settings allowing the scope to be powered up quickly.
Integrated Video Recorder
The Pulsar Lexion XQ50 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope has an internal memory to which captured images and videos can be saved. Stored files may be transferred to a PC or laptop via a wired or wireless connection.
Remote Control & Wireless Streaming
Wireless connection to an Android/ iOS smartphone or tablet with the Stream Vision App installed enables both footage streaming and remote control. Additionally, the Stream Vision App can be used to update the Pulsar Lexion XQ50 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s software. Wireless connectivity also enables remote operation via a remote control with an encoder wheel.
Shockproof & Waterproof Reinforced Housing
The Pulsar Lexion XQ50 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is suitable for use in low temperatures (-25°C) and heavy rain and snow. This is due to its frost-resistant AMOLED display and rugged, reinforced, IPX7-rated casing.
Power Supply
A progressive, autonomous B-pack power supply consisting of a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS7, 6.4 A-h battery provides over ten hours of operating time. The Pulsar Lexion XQ50 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is also compatible with IPS14 battery packs and AA battery cases.
Additionally, a micro-USB jack facilitates charging via an external power bank, enabling quicker start-up in cold weather and protecting the source from rapid discharge.
The Pulsar Lexion XQ50 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is a highly sensitive and resilient infrared imager specifically designed for professional applications.
