Pulsar’s first multispectral weapon scope, the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope combines 4K full-colour digital imaging with infrared imaging to create an effective daytime and nighttime scope that delivers clear, detailed pictures even in challenging conditions such as rain or fog.
4K Full Colour Sensor
Integration of a full-colour 4K digital CMOS sensor enables the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope to capture clear, detailed digital images/footage of targets at distances of 10m and over. When used in the daytime/digital mode, the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope’s lens does not require focusing. Additionally, in this mode, hunters can change reticle colours and patterns, capture footage/images, and connect the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope to a smartphone or tablet with the Stream Vision 2 App installed via the integrated Wi-Fi.
Thermal Imaging
Equipped with a <25mK thermal sensor with a 640 x 480px resolution, the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope captures minute temperature differences to provide detailed thermal pictures. A wide field of view ensures comfortable viewing whether observing a static or dynamic scene.
Fast Aperture F50/1.0 Thermal Lens
The Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope’s high-aperture F50/1.0 germanium lens ensures maximum detection efficiency in any weather conditions at any time of day or night.
Right- and left-handed users can easily adjust the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope’s focus using ergonomically placed focusing wheels on either side of the weapon scope.
Long Thermal Detection Range
The Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope’s high-sensitivity thermal sensor and long-focal-length lens allow 1.8m-tall objects to be detected at distances of 1800m during the day or night (in thermal mode).
Advanced Image Processing
Advanced image processing algorithms improve the contrast, clarity, and detail of thermal images, while a smoothing filter and brightness and contrast settings ensure comfortable observation over prolonged periods.
Multispectral Viewing Modes
The Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope offers four observation modes:
- Digital: for daytime hunting.
- Thermal: for night-time hunting and/or conditions, such as rain, fog, or excessive foliage that renders digital imaging less effective.
- Low-light: the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope automatically transitions to low-light/black-and-white mode when the light decreases, ensuring you can maintain low noise, clarity, and high-definition imaging.
- Picture-in-Picture: perfect for aiming, zooming in on a specific area of the image without losing the overall field of view; this mode can be used with digital and thermal imaging; it can also be used to combine both imaging channels, for example by displaying a close-up thermal image while maintaining a digital view of the entire field-of-view, or vice versa.
Equal Thermal & Digital FOV & Variable Magnification
The Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope offers a variable 2x to 16x magnification in both thermal and digital imaging modes. The magnification can be adjusted in steps of 2x or continuously.
Furthermore, as the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope's digital and thermal fields of view are also the same, you can easily switch between imaging modes without losing the scene.
8 Selectable Thermal Colour Palettes
Optimise the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope for specific applications by changing the thermal colour palette:
- Object detection: White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot
- Recognition and identification: Rainbow and Ultramarine
- Extended night-time observation: Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet
Photo & Video Recording
Capture and save images and videos to the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope’s 16GB internal memory.
Integrated Wi-Fi & Stream Vision 2 Compatibility
In addition to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi channel, the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope includes a faster, more stable 5GHz Wi-Fi channel. Via Wi-Fi, images and videos may be streamed to a smartphone/tablet with the Stream Vision 2 App installed. Using this app, you can operate the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope remotely as well as wirelessly update its software. Furthermore, by registering with the Stream Vision 2 App, you will be able to access and save media to the Pulsar Cloud.
Shooting Functions
As well as an array of imaging functions, the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope includes a selection of helpful tools designed to improve shooting precision:
- One-shot freeze zeroing: Zero the thermal and digital optical channel at a selected distance
- Five shooting profiles: save up to five shooting profiles each with a maximum of ten zeroing distances
- Ten reticle shapes in nine colours: ten reticle configurations and functions (direct shot type, ballistic, scalable, and regular) are available in nine colours
Classic, Rugged, Ergonomic Design
Featuring a classic 30mm housing, the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope is compatible with most hunting weapons. It is IPX7 waterproof rated and recoil resistant up to 12-gauge, 9.3x64, .375H&H. Furthermore, a frost-resistant, quick-response HD AMOLED display delivers sharp images at temperatures ranging from -25°C to +50°C. Moreover, the display’s wide-viewing angle combined with the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope’s wide-angle eyepiece (29.5°) provides comfortable image perception without a keyhole effect.
Long Battery Life
Powered by a built-in 4.9Ah rechargeable battery and a removable 2Ah rechargeable battery, the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope offers an operating time of up to six hours. Embossment on the body of the removable 2Ah battery ensures it can be quickly and easily replaced, even in complete darkness.
An instant, four-second start-up allows you to conserve battery life until the moment the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Multispectral Thermal Imaging Riflescope is needed.
