Testo 460 Compact Optical RPM Meter

The Testo 460 is a compact, lightweight and easy-to-use RPM meter ideally suited for use on ventilators, shafts and other rotating equipment.

A non-contact RPM meter, the Testo 406 should be held from a distance of 10 to 40cm away from the target application when measuring. A reflective marker should be attached to the measurement point and the 406's built-in LED measurement spot should be pointed at the marker to gain a measurement.

This meter is capable of measuring RPM values across a wide range from 100 to 29999RPM with high accuracy of ±0.02% of mv and excellent resolution down to 0.1RPM. It can measure in both RPM and RPS (selectable) and takes a measurement every 0.5 seconds.

At the push of a button, it's also possible to view minimum/maximum values taken over a period of time, or freeze the currently taken value on the screen by using the data hold function. The 460 also has a built-in backlight for use in poor lighting conditions.
