The ABUS 74/40 Intrinsically Safe Padlocks are available in nine standard models. Each model is keyed different with a single key, HOWEVER other models, including keyed alike and master key designs, are available. Please call our sales team with your specific requirements for more information and/or a tailored quotation.
The nine standard models listed in the drop-down selection only vary in terms of their colour. The colours available are:

The ABUS 74/40 Intrinsically Safe Padlocks have been optimised for use in lockout, and tag-out applications and to this end include features that resist manipulation, such as paracentric keyways, six-pin precision cylinders, and a double-bolt. In addition to this, these padlocks include features, such as key retention and automatic locking, which work to reduce the possibility of the padlock being left open by mistake.
The ABUS 74/40 Intrinsically Safe Padlocks are compact and lightweight as a result of their electrically insulated aluminium bodies and steel shackles with non-corrosive NANO PROTECT™ coating. These features ensure that the ABUS 74/40 Intrinsically Safe Padlocks can be used in hazardous environments and are suitable for securing machines, switchboards, and job boxes in addition to lockers, bags, and suitcases.
