Uniquely designed to secure gate valves with a rising stem, this lockout clips securely around the valve, preventing it from being turned during maintenance.
The lockout is extremely easy to install; clip the two parts apart, then attach around both sides of the valve, meeting in the middle. As it is designed for use with rising stem valves, the lockout has a cut out section in the middle which houses the stem.
This gate valve lockout is completely adjustable to cater for different valves sizes. It is made from high quality durable polypropylene/ABS and is highly resistant to extreme temperatures from -13 to +194°F.
Both versions of the lockout can be secured in place by up to five padlocks (sold separately).
