Chauvin Arnoux Metrix® DOX2100B Benchtop Digital Oscilloscope - Back

The Chauvin Arnoux Metrix® DOX2000B Series Benchtop Digital Oscilloscopes consists of three models which vary in regards to their maximum bandwidths. For further information, please see the table below.

Product Code Product Name Maximum Bandwidth
DOX2025B Chauvin Arnoux DOX2025B Benchtop Digital Oscilloscope - 2x25Mhz 25MHz
DOX2070B Chauvin Arnoux DOX2070B Benchtop Digital Oscilloscope - 2x70Mhz 70MHz
DOX2100B Chauvin Arnoux DOX2100B Benchtop Digital Oscilloscope - 2x100Mhz 100MHz

The Chauvin Arnoux Metrix® DOX2000B Series Benchtop Digital Oscilloscopes can be used to measure, monitor and analyse electrical signals.

Each of the models in this series has a vertical sensitivity of 2mV/div to 10 V/div in 12 ranges, two channels, a 2GS/s sampling frequency and a waveform memory with a maximum capacity of 1 Mpts per channel which extends to 2 Mpts in interlaced mode.  As well as this, the Chauvin Arnoux Metrix® DOX2000B Series Benchtop Digital Oscilloscopes feature an extended memory of 2MB and an array of acquisition and analysis modes with advanced trigger functions. Each model includes 20 setups and 20 waveforms saved to the internal memory.

The Chauvin Arnoux Metrix® DOX2000B Series Benchtop Digital Oscilloscopes are capable of performing real-time analysis on two different displays and to this end include five mathematical functions:

  • Addition
  • Subtraction
  • Multiplication
  • Division
  • FFT

The user can view up to 32 simultaneous measurements on the 7-inch, panoramic, colour LCD screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. In addition to this, the comprehensive selection of timing parameters makes it possible to compare signals on two separate channels as well as zoom in on these channels if required.

Adding to the efficiency and ease-of-use of these oscilloscopes is their ability to display measurement results instantly. They include a Pass/Fail function which will compare the real-time signal to a predefined profile (MASK) in order to ascertain whether the signal has passed or failed. This result is displayed on the screen instantly.  This function is particularly well suited to monitoring the development of signals ensuring that they remain within a specified profile.

These instruments also include a Record mode which can be triggered by an output Pass/Fail test signal and will cause the oscilloscope to record signals. It has a maximum recording length of 2500 frames of 2.5 kpts.

The Roll and Recorder modes facilitate the user’s ability to monitor slow signals in real time. The Roll mode is optimised for time base ranges of > 100ms whilst the Recorder mode can be used to record these signals in real-time. It has a maximum recording memory depth of 7Mpoints.

In addition to these modes, the Chauvin Arnoux Metrix® DOX2000B Series Benchtop Digital Oscilloscopes also include an Auto-calibration mode which can be utilised to ensure the accuracy of the acquisition channels CH1 and CH2.

Adding to these products’ accuracy are their configurable digital filters which prevent high- and low- frequency noise from affecting the trigger. These models include a choice of three digital filters:

  • 2.5kHz low-pass filter: allows the user to view the fundamental while suppressing the harmonics
  • 2.5kHz high-pass filter: using this filter the user is able to view the edges and suppress low-frequency plateaux
  • 5 Hz FcB and 2.5 kHz FcH band stop filter: for reducing the harmonics

In terms of their physicality, the Chauvin Arnoux Metrix® DOX2000B Series Benchtop Digital Oscilloscopes’ screens indicate 16 horizontal divisions in full-screen mode; however, they may be customised to suit the user’s purposes. The user is able to customise the display with regards to the following aspects:

  • Select between a normal and persistent display
  • Choose either a YT or XY format
  • Adjust the display’s colours
  • Alter the graticule, brightness and contrast.

The user may also view the menu in English, French, Spanish, Italian or German.

Adding to these products’ efficiency and ease-of-use are their fast start up and shut down times (10s) and intuitive ‘soft key’ icons which allow the user to access and view desired signal types instantly.

Moreover, the Chauvin Arnoux Metrix® DOX2000B Series Benchtop Digital Oscilloscopes feature a HOST USB port which allows the user to expand the recording storage capacity. Alternatively, the operator may utilise the USB and RJ45 (Ethernet) ports to facilitate PC communication; using Chauvin Arnoux’s Easyscope Software and the oscilloscope's PC communication the user can operate the instrument; he/she may initiate tests as well as recover trace and screenshot files.

Finally, in order to improve the security of these oscilloscopes, each one includes a Kensington locking system with a security slot for a plug-in padlock ensuring that the Chauvin Arnoux Metrix® DOX2000B Series Benchtop Digital Oscilloscopes can be immobilised.

The Chauvin Arnoux Metrix® DOX2000B Series Benchtop Digital Oscilloscopes are cost-effective oscilloscopes with an eclectic array of features optimised for the comprehensive measuring and analysing of electrical signals.
