Fully intrinsically safe pressure measurements are easily obtained using Comark’s C9503, a comprehensive pressure meter designed not to cause an ignition in a potentially combustible environment.

Part of the C9500 range, the C9503 features the ability to calculate pressure from 0 to ±350mBar across selectable pressure units of PSI, mBar, inH20, inHg, mmHg, torr, Kpa and mmH20. Both positive and negative (vacuum) pressure measurements can be carried out.

  • Certified for use in environments with combustible atmospheres in line with Ex II 1 G EEx ia IIC T4 Baseefa 03 ATEX 0079 certification (certification applicable at atmospheric pressure)
  • Impregnated protection: limits electrical discharge and surface discharge to prevent ignition of volatile gases, dust or vapours
  • Pressure range: 0 to ±350mbar
  • Selectable pressure units: PSI, mBar, inH20, inHg, mmHg, torr, KPa and mmH20
  • Twin inputs for gauge or differential pressure measurements 
  • Positive and negative ports for positive or negative (vacuum) pressure measurements
  • Adjustable zero values
  • Max, min and data hold functions
  • Average reading function
  • Filter mode removes transients readings and takes the average reading over the past four seconds
  • Record function 
  • Overrange indicators – maximum over/under pressure 15PSI/1000mBar
  • Indicates when measurements are in excess of 9999
  • Selectable auto switch-off function
  • Low battery indicator
  • Supplied with a 9V PP3 6F22 battery
