Great for professional, busy and loud kitchens, the ETI DOT thermometer displays both the current temperature of cooking food, plus a set alarm limit temperature.
When the set alarm limit is exceeded, the DOT will start to sound a 70dB audible alarm, which can be easily heard in the busiest kitchens. This mode is ideal for either waiting for an oven to reach the desired temperature or for alerting you if the oven goes above the temperature you need.
Using the DOT is simple; just plug in the included probe (114mm penetration probe with 1.2m stainless steel braided lead), set the temperature you want, insert the probe into your food, and the DOT will beep. The display will then flash when the temperature you want is reached.
You can leave the probe in the food for the entire cooking process; the strong braided steel of the lead means you can easily close the oven door on the probe!
ETI’s DOT thermometer is suitable for sitting on a worktop using its fold-out stand, or it can attach to an appliance thanks to magnetic pads on the back.
This thermometer is available in white or charcoal grey and is also suitable for use with several other probes (more information available below).
