These PT100 test caps are used for checking the accuracy of ETI's Precision PT100 thermometer, or any platinum resistance thermometer with a binder connector.
The test cap is designed to plug directly into a compatible thermometer; once done, your thermometer should show the same temperature value as defined on the test cap. If not, your thermometer needs calibrating.
Each test cap is supplied with a UKAS certificate of calibration with guaranteed uncertainty of ±0.1°C.
