Extech 407732 Low High Range Sound Level Meter  Kit

The Extech 407332 is used to gain an accurate measurement of noise levels in an environment and contains two separate measurement ranges for lower volume applications and higher volume applications.

When testing in Lo mode this device can measure from a range of 35 to 100dB. If you're in a more noisy application you can use the High mode, which bumps up the overall measurement range of this device to 65 to 135dB. This means that no matter whether you're in a quiet office or heavy industrial factory the Extech 407732 is still suitable for use.

Practical applications of the device include testing the overall noise produced by machinery to ensure that damage to human hearing won't be caused. It can also be used to install audio systems, including fire and burglar alarms.

The device fully meets ANSI and IEC 651 type 2 standards.
