This digital multimeter is the highest spec model available in Extech's EX400 series.
Including all of the functionality of other meters in the series, this digital multimeter can test 11 different electrical parameters and is also the only model in the series with a built-in non-contact infrared (IR) thermometer!
Extech's EX470A can be used to test AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature (using the included type K temperature probe), infrared temperature (using the built-in IR thermometer), duty cycle, diode and continuity.
With the Extech EX470A, you'll be able to work in a wide variety of conditions thanks to a large-size, fully backlit LCD screen with large-size digits. Testing with the EX470A is also highly accurate - this meter is true RMS to ensure that accuracy is maintained constantly when testing irregular AC circuits.
This digital multimeter is CAT III 600V rated.
