Since it can be extremely dangerous to touch anything that's running either extremely cold or extremely hot temperatures, conducting temperature measurements can be a daunting process. Thankfully there's a solution, and it's the Extech Tp400.

This handy device allows you to carry out temperature testing up to 450 degrees F without actually touching the area you're testing. It does this by clamping on the retractable jaws, which will then allow you to gain readings via any multimeter or thermometer that has an integrated Type K thermocouple input.
