The FLIR A40 Thermal Camera Early Fire Detection Kit is an automated monitoring set specifically designed for detecting hot spots (potential precursors to fires) in industrial environments such as data centres, waste/recycling facilities, and manufacturing/utilities plants.
The kit includes a FLIR A40 Advanced Smart Sensor Thermal Camera with your choice of lens, an IP67 housing, and a sunshield.
The FLIR A40 Advanced Smart Sensor Thermal Camera is an automated thermal camera suitable for condition monitoring and early fire detection. It offers an IR resolution of 320 x 240px, MSX imaging (except models with a 95° lens), FSX technology, and built-in analytics and alarms. In addition to this, the rugged and ergonomic FLIR A40 integrates seamlessly with condition monitoring/video management systems.
The FLIR A40 Advanced Smart Sensor Thermal Camera is available with your choice of lens. Choose from 29°, 51°, or 95° lenses.

This aluminium housing protects the FLIR A40 Thermal Camera from dust and water ingress. It is IP67 rated and includes windows for the A40’s thermal and visual sensors, ensuring the camera's coverage is not impeded. Moreover, FLIR’s proprietary radiometric formulas ensure the FLIR A40’s accuracy remains within specification.
