These thermal optics feature a slender, durable design and a simple operating system and intuitive menus making them both simple- and easy-to-use. These FLIR Scion OTM2/366 Outdoor Thermal Monoculars can be operated using a single hand.

The rugged, IP67-rated housing protects the internal hardware components, such as the FLIR Boson core, from any potential damage that may be caused by the environment or the elements. The sophisticated processing capabilities of the FLIR Boson core, the monoculars’ 640 x 512-pixel detectors, 60Hz frame rate and high-definition displays all ensure that the user is able to view continuous, clear and sharp thermal images and videos in all light conditions. These instruments are able to provide the user with the same clarity and comprehensive awareness of his/her surroundings in conditions ranging from complete darkness to glaring light to lingering haze.

Furthermore, the GPS functionality of the FLIR Scion OTM2/366 Outdoor Thermal Monoculars ensures that thermal media can be geotagged.

Thermal footage and images may be saved to the FLIR Scion OTM2/366 Outdoor Thermal Monoculars’ integrated 2GB memories and can be transferred to a compatible instrument (for example a PC, smartphone or tablet) via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Moreover; the FLIR Scion OTM2/366 Outdoor Thermal Monoculars are able to accommodate a 128GB microSD card, allowing the user to extend the monoculars’ memories as necessary, thereby facilitating the capture of hours of thermal images and footage.

In addition to this, the FLIR Scion OTM2/366 Outdoor Thermal Monoculars feature several user-selectable thermal imaging colour palettes, ensuring that it can be tailored to the application, environment and/or the user's preferences.
