Expand the functionality of your existing digital multimeter or clamp meter with FLIR's flexible current clamp adaptor, the TA72!

Equipped with standard 4mm (banana) jack connectors, the TA72 is designed to interface directly with other electrical meters, regardless of brand. This adaptor cannot function on its own as a meter; it must be used with another meter to work.

FLIR's TA72 is ideal for measuring current in difficult applications. This adaptor is equipped with a completely flexible coil clamp, allowing it to be fed around difficult conductors or narrow gaps such as those inside electrical cabinets. Using it is simple - just unclip the flexible probe, feed it around the conductor and attach back into the body of the adaptor.

With the TA72 equipped to a digital multimeter or other tester, it's possible to measure AC current up to a high threshold of 3000A.

This clamp adaptor's jaws open to a maximum diameter of 2.4" (6m), with flexible coil length of 10" (25cm). A larger version of this product - TA74 - is also available.
