FLIR TRK-101 Analytics Encoders – Choice of Model

The FLIR TRK-101 Analytics Encoders transform FLIR thermal imaging cameras and FLIR HD cameras into intelligent security/ surveillance cameras. These encoders analyse video signals and send alarm notifications to specified persons when a security breach is detected.  

There are two models available which are optimised for use with different FLIR cameras. Furthermore, unlike the standard TRK-101 Encoder, the TRK-101 P PTZ model can support PTZ and PTZ tracking. In addition to the listed FLIR cameras, the FLIR TRK-101 Analytics Encoders support leading third-party cameras.

These single-channel, H.264 video analytics encoders can be configured to suit the user’s requirements; the operator can define the detection perimeter and can program the FLIR TRK-101 Analytics Encoders to identify specific security breaches such as:

• Intrusion (regional entrance, tripwire and fence trespassing)
• Unattended baggage
• Object removal
• Stationary vehicles
• Loitering
• Camera tampering

It is possible to program the FLIR TRK-101 Analytics Encoders to operate in accordance with up to five simultaneous detection rules.

Clips of recorded events can be saved to the FLIR TRK-101 Analytics Encoders’ internal memories; videos can also be stored on Edge (SoE) and backed up remotely. Additionally, the user can access the FLIR TRK-101 Analytics Encoders via the internet enabling live and SoE playback.

Further to this, the FLIR TRK-101 Analytics Encoders can be configured via a standard web browser. They can be set up remotely within five minutes and will perform automatic calibration.

Due to the inclusion of hybrid video outputs (H.264, MPEG-4 SP and MJPEG), the FLIR TRK-101 Analytics Encoders can be integrated into both legacy and IP-based CCTV networks, enabling the streaming of analogue and IP videos respectively. The FLIR TRK-101 Analytics Encoders also support MTU setup for encrypted networks.
