This probe is designed to be used with standard multimeters and allows you to extend the voltage measuring capability of the device.
When in use, this probe allows multimeters to extend measurements to 40,000 peak AC or DC Overvoltage Cateogry I, allowing it to be used on circuits with limited energy like those found in TVs or other machines such as photocopiers.
The probe is only suitable for low energy applications - so don't use it to measure high voltage on power distribution systems.
