Fluke's 80K-6 probe is designed to extend the voltage measuring capabilities of AC/DC voltmeters, enhancing the testing parameters to high voltage levels with a 6000 volts peak AC or DC Overvoltage Category I.
This makes the probe ideal for use on measuring energy-limited circuits, which are often found inside televisions or photo copy machines.
The probe is NOT suitable for use in measuring high voltages on power distribution systems.
This probe should plug into most common multimeters and is only intended for low energy applications.
