The Fluke MDA-550-III Motor Drive Analyser is a portable, four-channel motor-drive analysis test tool, wave analyser, and data logger with a bandwidth of 500MHz. It can be used to troubleshoot inverter-type motor-drive systems and safely locate problems. Guided test setups simplify troubleshooting while measurement profiles ensure comprehensive data collection, and an integrated report generator creates as-found and as-left reports quickly and easily.

The Fluke MDA-550-III Motor Drive Analyser can measure key motor-drive parameters such as:

  • Voltage
  • Current
  • DC bus voltage level and AC ripple
  • Voltage and current unbalance
  • Harmonics (including extended harmonics measurements)
  • Voltage modulation
  • Motor shaft voltage discharges

The Fluke MDA-550-III Motor Drive Analyser offers guided motor-drive input, DC bus, drive output, and motor input and shaft (with graphical step-by-step voltage and current connection diagrams) measurements. You need only select the required test and the Fluke MDA-550-III Motor Drive Analyser will provide step-by-step instructions, including voltage and current connections, thereby making even the most complex of measurements simple.

Additionally, preset measurement profiles ensure you capture all the relevant information for each critical motor-drive section by triggering data collection based on the chosen test procedure. Furthermore, the Fluke MDA-550-III Motor Drive Analyser creates reports quickly and easily from gathered data due to the inclusion of a report generator.

Finally, the Fluke MDA-550-III Motor Drive Analyser offers the highest safety rating in the industry: CAT IV 600V/ CAT III 1000V for use at the service entrance and downstream.

The Fluke MDA-550-III Motor Drive Analyser is a three-in-one motor-drive analyser, waveform analyser, and recording data logger capable of delivering reliable, repeatable test results.
