The Gagemaker 90-PD8000 Series inspects the pitch diameter of external threads across a wide range of diameters from 0" to 52". The PD-8000 series includes various models, such as the 90-PD8001 (0–6"), 90-PD8002 (6–12"), and up to the 90-PD8014 (44–52"). Each gauge utilises a ball contact system and provides dimensional readings, not just a pass/fail evaluation.
Each instrument must be preset to a nominal value using gauge blocks, micrometers, or the Gagemaker MIC TRAC setting system, ensuring precise calibration for the specific thread. The PD-8000 Series gauges are supplied without contact points, allowing users to select the appropriate ball contacts based on the thread pitch.
