The Gagemaker RG-7000 Gauges inspect functional (effective) diameter of external threads by assessing the combined effects of lead, pitch, and flank angle variations. The gauges use precision rolling elements that mimic the functional fit of mating threads. Each instrument must be preset to a nominal size using gauge blocks, micrometers, or the Gagemaker MIC TRAC system.
