The Hanna HI-10482 HALO is a Bluetooth pH electrode particularly suitable for winemaking. It has a double junction system, General Purpose (GP) glass, a spheric bulb design, an integrated temperature sensor, a visible status indicator, a glass body and a refillable 3.5M KCl electrolyte solution.
Since wine typically falls within a pH range of 3 to 4, the HI-10482 HALO optimises accuracy by automatically displaying a pH 3.00 calibration buffer instead of the standard pH 4.01 buffer when paired with a compatible meter. This tailored calibration ensures that readings remain bracketed within the expected range, enhancing reliability for winemakers and oenologists.
With one-press Bluetooth connectivity, the HI-10482 HALO links to the Hanna Lab App, transforming an iPad into a full-featured pH meter. This app enables calibration, measurement, logging, graphing, and sharing.
