The Hanna HI-98501 Checktemp has a digital display that prevents a parallax error (observing the wrong measurement due to the angle of view). It includes a CAL Check function that begins on startup and reports the status as “0” or “err”.
A stainless steel sharp-tip probe is included with the HI-98501, which penetrates semi-solid products. Checktemp is the ideal instrument for measuring temperature according to HACCP requirements.
