HD Electric PT-500 Voltmeter Proof Tester

The HD Electric PT-500 Voltmeter Proof Tester is specifically designed to check the functionality and, therefore, the reliability and safety of HD Electric’s DVM-5000V Digital Voltmeter.

This instrument issues a 500V output and is powered by a 9V lithium/ alkaline battery. The user needs only connect the HD Electric PT-500 Voltmeter Proof Tester’s test leads to the HD Electric DVM-5000V Digital Voltmeter’s probes and press both TEST buttons to commence the necessary checks. The HD Electric DVM-500V Digital Voltmeter should read 500 V.

During testing, if the HD Electric PT-500 Voltmeter Proof Tester’s red light illuminates this indicates that the battery is sufficiently charged; absence of this light indicates that it requires replacing.
