HD Electric WM-01 Watchman Work Area Voltage Detector
The HD Electric WM-01 Watchman Work Area Voltage Detector is a small, simple-to-use, safety-optimised voltage indicator. It features WAVi Work Area Voltage Indication technology and can be used to detect strong electric fields around high-voltage conductors and power equipment.
It is ideal for crews working on or around power lines, as the HD Electric WM-01 Watchman Work Area Voltage Detector can alert these individuals to the presence of voltage as well as indicate when there is no longer active power in the area.
The ‘heartbeat’ pattern indicates that the HD Electric WM-01 Watchman Work Area Voltage Detector is checking for the presence of high-voltage electric fields. When high voltage is detected, the HD Electric WM-01 Watchman Work Area Voltage Detector will indicate this using spinning LED lights.
The HD Electric WM-01 Watchman Work Area Voltage Detector’s functionality can be verified using the self-test function. To activate this function the user needs only press and hold the On/Off button.
Typically, the HD Electric WM-01 Watchman Work Area Voltage Detector is placed within the vicinity of power lines of high-voltage equipment; however, this voltage indicator also includes powerful neodymium magnets allowing it to be mounted to accessory brackets (NOT included) or to any magnetic surface.
