Kern BFB Robust Floor Scales (600kg - 6000kg) - Choice of Model

Place these scales down in the floor in the warehouse, factory or other heavy-duty applications for quick and easy measurements of weight.

With several models available, Kern's BFB scales can measure up to a total of 6 tonnes (depending on model). They are made from extremely robust steel and four steel load cells covered in a silicone, IP67 dust and water protection spray, ensuring that they are suitable for rugged environments. Further to this, the weighing plates can be easily removed via unscrewing, allowing them to be periodically cleaned and maintained, thereby prolonging these instruments' longevity. 

The Kern BFB Robust Floor Scales include a separate display unit which is attached to the scale via a cable. A benchtop stand, including a wall mount, is included for the display as standard.

The design of these units also allows for easy levelling of the weighing bridge and access to the junction box, allowing the user to maintain the reliability and accuracy of the scales. Other features included in order to maintain these instruments' accuracy of measurement include a Hold function which will determine the average reading during unsteady weighing conditions. Furthermore, the  Kern's BFB Scales automatically filter out vibrations in order to ensure accurate readings at all times.  

In addition to conducting weight measurements, the Kern BFB Robust Floor Scales can be programmed to include upper and lower alarm limits and will alert the user via an audible and visual alarm if any of these limits are reached or exceeded. Moreover, these scales include a Piece Counting function and a Sum function. The latter feature allows the user to add the weights of similar items together and send the total weight to print via the RS-232 interface and a compatible Kern printer (NOT included).
