Kern HDB-XL High-Capacity Hanging Scales – Choice of Model

The Kern HDB-XL High-Capacity Hanging Scales are available in three models with different measurement scales. For further information regarding the differences between these models, please see the following table.

These high-capacity scales are ideal for goods-in and goods-out applications such as determining the weight of fish, game, fruits, bicycle parts and suitcases. They are compliant with the following specifications:

• EN 13155 - non-fixed load lifting attachments/ breakage resistance
• EN 61010-1 – electrical safety

The Kern HDB-XL High-Capacity Hanging Scales also feature a TÜV certification mark.

Measurements are indicated via the scales’ LCD display with a digit height of 12mm. The user can choose to view measurements in kg, lb or N.

These scales also feature measurement functions designed to improve the ease with which results can be viewed and recorded:

• Hold: this function can be engaged manually to freeze the current measurement on-screen; alternatively, it will activate automatically when a weight has remained unchanged for a prolonged period of time
• Peak Load Display: recalls the highest value registered and freezes this weight on the screen

Adding to these products’ convenience and ease-of-use are their large design with a bigger handle for greater control when handling heavier loads. These scales also feature steel hooks that can be hinged.

The Kern HDB-XL High-Capacity Hanging Scales are supplied with two 1.5V AAA batteries that are able to provide the weighing instruments with up to 180 hours of power.
