The Kern OBT Transmitted Light Compound Microscopes are intended for use in primary and secondary schools as well as training facilities. They can be used to inspect translucent, thin, high-contrast, less complex samples such as plant tissue, coloured cells and parasites.
The Kern OBT Transmitted Light Compound Microscope’s long-lasting, infinitely dimmable 1W LED provides optimum illumination of the sample. These classroom microscopes also include condenser lenses, which ensure the best concentration of light and illumination of the sample:
Additionally, all of these models are equipped with coarse and fine focusing knobs. Moreover, the Kern OBT 103, 104, 105, 106, and 231 Compound Microscopes include a mechanical angle table for fast and easy moving of samples.
Furthermore, the Kern OBT-1 Transmitted Light Compound Microscope can be used with a range of OPTIONAL eyepieces and objectives, expanding their scope for use.
These sturdy and simple-to-operate teaching microscopes are battery-operated, enabling mobile use. The Kern OBT Transmitted Light Compound Microscopes are also supplied with a dust cover for protection during storage.
