Please note that this version of the Megger DLRO10X does not ship as standard with the leadset required for measurements. If you require the lead set, you can buy part number 1006-600 instead which includes this.
The upgraded version of Megger's DLRO10, this tester is capable of everything the other tester could do and also includes a number of unique new features.
Easily the most useful upgrade is the addition of built-in memory to the tester. This enables users to automatically store test readings and recall them at a later date either on the tester or on a PC, ensuring that extensive analysis can be carried out on one testing point over time or comparisons can be made between different conductor measurements. The DLRO10X also includes an alpha-numeric keypad to allow the user to manually adjust records and the memory of the tester can be sent to a printer to print out testing records.
When testing, the DLRO10 uses a four terminal resistance method to negate the resistance of test leads, thus ensuring measurement accuracy. Multiple test modes are available on the device, including normal testing, auto testing (which applied forward and reverse current), continuous testing for repeated measurements and a special inductive mode for use on inductive devices such as motors etc. The DLRO10X also comes with a unique unidirectional mode which applies current in a single direction (this is designed to speed up the overall measurement process).
The Megger DLRO10 can use multiple ranges when testing. The following table outlines the specific testing procedures possible and relevant data when testing with this low resistance ohmmeter:

Megger DLRO10X Digital Low Resistance Ohmmeter Key Features
Powerful instrument ideal for any low resistance measurement application with range from 0.1μΩ to 2000Ω (7 ranges)
Manual and automatic modes - automatically choose a test current of up to 10A DC or you can manually set the test current yourself
Variety of different measurement modes:
Normal Mode - initiates a test by pressing the Test button on the instrument front panel after connecting the test leads. Continuity on all four connections is checked, forward and reverse currents are applied
Auto Mode - allows forward and reverse current measurements to be made and the average displayed simply by making contact with all four probes
Continuous Mode - allows repeated measurements to be made on the same sample
Inductive Mode - intended for use when measuring inductive loads
Unidirectional Mode - exclusive to the DLRO10X - applies a current in one direction only
Small, lightweight and portable design - ideal for use in tight places, reducing the need for extra long leads and two person operation
Four terminal resistance method - shows the true resistance of the item under test
Bright LCD display which is clearly visible under all lighting conditions
Automatically applies forward/reverse currents which cancel out any standing voltages on sample under test
Checks for excessive noise during measurements to ensure accurate results
Automatically detects continuity in P and C circuits, preventing erroneously high readings taking due to high resistance contact
Powered by a 5.2 lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack. Optional mains/line power supply available
Internal memory storage with download to PC via RS232 connection
Printer output (printer sold separately)
Alpha-numerical keypad for entering test notes
User-selectable high and low limits for simple go-no-go testing
