Metrel MI 3295 Step Contact Voltage Measuring System
Metrel’s MI 3295 is a high accuracy voltage measuring system, designed for the testing and verification of protective earthing of power stations, substation, distribution towers and other power systems.
This small and compact unit includes an MI 3295S Station capable of generating current up to 55A and an autonomous voltage meter which eliminates the need for long voltage leads. The tester produces high accuracy results thanks to the excellent noise immunity against changing earth currents and can produce a resolution of 10 µV.
Store test results on the internal downloadable memory, which can be later transferred to a PC and analysed on Metrel’s PC SW HVLink PRO, meaning your results are always safe and can easily be recalled and reviewed at any time.
Functions
- Measurement of step voltage and contact voltage – Also known as “step and touch voltage tests” ideal for high voltage transmission systems, fences around substations and other critical locations to ensure the safety of people and animals surrounding the area.
- Measurement of earthing resistance with a resolution of 1 mO
