The Monument 300M Semi-Automatic Adjustable Copper Pipe Cutter is best used on 8-22mm diameter copper and thicker walled plastic pipes, such as those used in central heating.
Pipes are cut automatically once they have been sized and tightened. After tightening no further adjustment or feeding of the wheel into the tube is required.
Soft copper can also be cut without crushing if the tool is used like a conventional cutter by feeding the wheel into the tube.
Thin walled plastic pipes may collapse too easily unless an internal support is given to pipes.
