There’s no room for error in substations. Whether you’re commissioning new assets, running a maintenance programme, or locating faults, you need to know which tests to perform and how to interpret the results. Fortunately, on Tuesday 24th November 2026, Megger is bringing a free one-day substation testing workshop to PASS’ NEW Stevenage Training Centre. It has been curated specifically for test and commissioning engineers, protection engineers, HV maintenance technicians, authorised and senior authorised persons, asset managers, and electrical engineers responsible for substations, private HV networks, or switch rooms. Throughout the day, theory and practical sessions will cover relay protection, circuit breakers, CTs, transformers, and batteries.

Energy is expensive and, therefore, one of the biggest running costs on any site. With prices likely to increase, businesses want to make sure energy is used efficiently. Unfortunately, energy waste often occurs in ways invisible to the human eye: through air leaks, escaping heat, and poor power quality. That’s why we’ve partnered with Fluke, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of electrical testing and acoustic imaging equipment, to deliver a free workshop dedicated to finding and correcting sources of energy loss. Taking place on Wednesday 11th November at our NEW Stevenage Training Centre, this open day is ideal for engineers and technicians involved in facilities, equipment, and systems maintenance.
