Sauter TVM-N Motorised Test Stands – Choice of Model

The Sauter TVM-N Motorised Test Stands are available in five models with different measuring and speed ranges. Please see the table below for further details.

These test stands include an electronic motor and are designed for conducting standard force and length measurements. To this end, they may be used with a variety of Sauter length and force measuring instruments. The Sauter TVM-N Motorised Test Stands are supplied with Sauter’s LA Length Measuring Instrument, allowing the user to determine travel distances to a resolution of 0.01mm.

However; these stands are NOT supplied with other measuring instruments. The Sauter TVM-N Motorised Test Stands are compatible with the following Sauter products:

• Sauter FH, FA, FK and FL Force Gauges
• Sauter LD Linear Potentiometers
• Sauter LB Digital Sliding Calliper Length/ Distance Meters

The Sauter TVM-N Motorised Test Stands are versatile instruments enabling simple and quick connections to the aforementioned instruments. They include a mount for Sauter’s FH Universal Digital Force Gauges; Instruments with external load cells and a measurement range beginning from 1000N can be installed directly. Moreover, it is possible to directly install an external load cell on the cross beam (EXCEPT on the TVM 5000N230NL model).

In addition to this, the Sauter TVM 5000N230N and TVM 10KN120N Motorised Test Stands can accommodate the direct installation of force-measuring instruments with an internal load cell and a range of up to 500N.

The Sauter TVM-N Motorised Test Stands are compatible with a number of attachments, clamps and grips allowing the user to adapt the stands to accommodate the connection of various instruments.

When used with Sauter’s FH Force Gauges, the Sauter TVM-N Motorised Test Stands can be programmed to switch off automatically after reaching a user-adjustable load limit.

In addition to this Teststop function, the Sauter TVM-N Motorised Test Stands include a Repeat function for prolonged load testing. This function is accessible via the Sauter TVM-N Motorised Test Stands’ premium operating panels. Via this panel, the user can view the digital speed display indicating the travelling speed. The maximum travelling distance is protected by electronic end switches.

In addition to operating the Sauter TVM-N Motorised Test Stands via the premium operating panel, the user is able to configure and operate the stands using Sauter’s AFH Data Transfer Software (see ‘Accessories’).
