About Analytical Balances
Analytical balances are highly sensitive lab instruments designed to accurately measure mass. Their readability has a range between 0.1mg - 0.01mg. They have a draft shield or weighing chamber to prevent the very small samples from being affected by air currents.
Designed to measure smaller masses with great precision the balances are quite sensitive and can measure up to four decimal points to the immediate right of the decimal point. The balances are so sensitive that air currents can affect the measurement.
