About Industrial Platform, Floor & Pallet Scales
Platform scale is a term used to broadly describe weighing scales that have larger weighing surfaces than those found on a typical bench. The weight indicator often tends to be separate from the platform or weighing surface, enabling the indicator to stand to one side out of the way, mounted on the wall, or as in some cases, mounted on a pillar.
An industrial floor scale is a weighing scale with a flat base for placing items on to be weighed, designed to be placed on the floor. Industrial floor scales are perfect for general weighing tasks - from parcels and boxes to crates. They are usually required to weigh heavy or bulky items.
Pallet scales are specifically designed for weighing pallets, crates, and other large objects. They are commonly used in warehouses, factories, and other industrial environments and are usually combined with weighing indicators.
