Siglent New SDS1000X-E Series Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes
The SDS1000X-E series use a new SPO (Super-Phosphor Oscilloscope) technology that provides better signal fidelity and lower signal noise giving better accuracy and performance. The scope delivers measurements quickly and accurately without slowing the acquisition or front-panel response thanks to the powerful co-processing unit. The unit features a user friendly interface with all of the most commonly used functions available at the touch of a button, easily control selected channel menus with the context dial, zoom in on waveforms and see more detail with the high quality 7 inch TFT -LCD display with vibrant colours and easy to read menu systems.
Packed full of features from digital trigger systems giving the user new levels of adjustment, 14 Mpts length recordings, a waveform capture rate up to 100,000 wfm/s (normal mode), and 400,000 wfm/s (sequence mode) and multiple powerful triggering modes to get even more accurate and informative readings on signal states, makes these oscilloscopes one to beat anywhere in its price class.
Key Features/Functions
Acquisition Rates: Two channel series have one 1 GSa/s ADC, four channel series have two 1 GSa/s ADCs. When all channels are enabled, each channel has a maximum sample rate of 500 MSa/s. When a single channel per ADC is active, it has a sample rate of 1 GSa/s
Waveform Capture Rate: Up to 400,000 wfm/s means you can easily capture the unusual or low-probability events
Low background noise with voltage scales from 500 μV/div to 10 V/div: Better accuracy is attained as details can be obscured by higher measurement system noise
Segmented acquisition /memory: Divide the maximum record length into multiple segments (up to 80,000) and/or only record when the user selected trigger events occur e.g. infrequent pulse
‘List’ option: Allows you to scroll through and see the characteristics of each acquisition acquired
Automatic measurement function: For upto 38 parameters as well as Measurement Statistics, Zoom, Gating, Math, History and Reference functions
Serial bus triggering and decoding (Standard), supports protocols IIC,SPI, UART, RS232, CAN, LIN
Math functions (FFT, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, integration, differential, square root) - uses all sampled data points (up to 14 Mpts)
1 million point FFT – Math function enabling high-frequency resolution when observing signal spectra
History Waveforms (History): Playback the latest triggered events using the history function, each frame is timestamped
Zoom feature: Allows you to select a part of the waveform and zoom in/out enhancing the measurements’ validity and flexibility.
Customizable Default Key: Set user-defined parameters
High-Speed hardware based Pass/ Fail function
Bode Plot: Scan an object’s amplitude and phase frequency response, and display the data as a Bode Plot
Search and Navigate: Search events specified by the user
Display Features
256 -Level Intensity Grading and Colour Temperature Display: As well as fast refresh rates, the screen uses a gradient colour display to represent events from most to least frequent. Or alternatively, use colour temperature viewing mode when the frequency is represented by different colours.
16 digital channels -Acquire and trigger on the waveforms then analyse the pattern, simultaneously with one instrument
External USB powered 25 MHz AWG module: Functions include Sine, Square, Ramp, Pulse, Noise, DC and 45 built-in waveforms
USB WIFI adapter (that allows remote control via web browser): WiFi control of instrumentation can provide a convenient and safe method of configuring and collecting data.
