Siglent SDS5000L Low Profile HD Digital Storage Oscilloscope

The Siglent SDS5000L Series is available in 350 MHz (SDS5038L), 500 MHz (SDS5058L), and 1 GHz (SDS5108L). They have eight analogue channels, a 12-bit vertical resolution, and a sampling rate of up to 5 GSa/s.

The SDS5000L can function as a standalone oscilloscope when connected to an external monitor and mouse or be deployed as part of a scalable, multi-channel test system using Siglent’s SYN64 synchronisation distributor. It enables high-channel-count acquisition setups of up to 512 synchronised channels. Whether deployed as a single node or part of a larger matrix, the SDS5000L provides signal coherence via daisy-chained 10 MHz clock in/out lines and low-skew triggering.

The SDS5000L has a compact 1U design and an SPO (Super Phosphor Oscilloscope) engine. Users benefit from up to 160,000 waveforms per second, 256-level intensity grading, a colour temperature display mode, a 2.5 Gpts/ch record length, digital triggering with low jitter, and serial protocol support.

The oscilloscopes have multi-channel visibility and can perform one-shot captures across complex systems, power-up sequence testing, multi-rail analysis, and ripple measurements. The SDS5108L (1 GHz) model delivers ps-level rise time performance, enabling analysis of fast-switching GaN and SiC devices. The Ethernet connectivity supports SCPI commands, LXI compliance, and remote control via web browser while also supporting LabVIEW and the IVI driver.
