The Siglent SSG6082A-V has a frequency range from 9 kHz to 8 GHz and supports AM, FM, and PM analogue modulation, pulse modulation and pulse sequence generation. It features an internal 500 MHz bandwidth IQ baseband source, which, when paired with SigIQPro PC software, enables the generation of common digital modulated and communication protocol signals.
Factory calibration provides excellent 1 GHz broadband characteristics and strong ACPR performance. The ultra-low phase noise reaches -132 dBc/Hz at a 10 kHz offset for a 1 GHz signal. In wireless communication, low-phase noise helps to minimise bit error rates (BER).
The generator also has a 1 GHz RF modulation bandwidth and ACPR characteristics. It delivers outstanding EVM performance when generating signals for WLAN, 5G NR, and LTE while minimising neighbouring channel interference during multi-channel testing. The SSG6082A-V supports automatic amplitude, frequency, and phase compensation based on the S2P file.
