This sturdy polystyrene box has been purpose built to house electrical plugs, and can’t be forcibly opened when fully secured. This prevents plugs from being inserted into energy sources during maintenance work, and is essential for preventing accidents from occurring in the workplace.
The box included in this purchase is a smaller variety; it is built mainly for 110V plugs, but can also house similar types of the same size. The device contains a simple hole which the plug’s cable can be fed through which is not wide enough to release the plug from the box.
Though this lockout box may not be ideal for UK plugs, it is suitable for IEC plugs C1 – C23.
