The Sofamel SG-117 pneumatic tester is a pump system to optimise inflation and visual inspection, especially at the muff level. Class 0 and 00 only. The SG-117 checks for the absence of pores in dielectric gloves and is verified by swelling and subsequent immersion in water.
Before using dielectric gloves for live working, the EN 60903 and IEC 60903 standards recommend a visual inspection by inflating the gloves with air to detect any possible leakages.
