Compatible with iOS and Android smartphones/tablets, the FLIR Edge Pro Wireless Thermal Camera wirelessly connects to your smart device enabling inspections of out-of-reach targets. Alternatively, clip to your smartphone or tablet for one-handed inspections. Equipped with VividIR™, MSX™, and Ignite™ technology, you can capture clear thermal images and videos from any angle, while maintaining a natural grip on the camera, and instantly upload them to the Cloud.
The FLIR Edge Pro has a 160 x 120px thermal resolution and can measure temperatures up to 400°C. This, together with FLIR’s VividIR™ function, which combines multiple image frames, and MSX™ mode, which overlays digital details onto thermal images, allows you to capture sharp, high-quality thermal images perfect for identifying targets easily and pinpointing potential problems.

In addition to facilitating comfortable, single-handed operation, it is compatible with an array of FLIR storage, analysis, and reporting products. This makes it easy for you to improve the efficiency of inspections as well as scale your thermography inspection program, particularly as the FLIR Edge Pro offers step-by-step guidance for a range of FLIR-specific apps.
When used with FLIR’s Ignite Cloud Service, it allows you to upload videos and images to the Cloud for storage, organisation, editing, and/or sharing. It is also compatible with FLIR’s Thermal Studio Software, a state-of-the-art thermal image analysis and reporting program.
The FLIR Edge Pro Wireless Thermal Camera is an innovative inspection solution that transforms your smartphone or tablet into a thermal imager capable of capturing crisp images and videos.
The FLIR Edge includes Vivid IR, FLIR’s proprietary image enhancement technology. It introduces Super Resolution, delivering significant improvements in thermal image clarity and detail. Anyone with a unit can use Vivid IR with a software update.
Octopus Energy Ltd has purchased a number of these cameras for their Octo Assist Initiative. As part of this program, Octopus Energy is loaning thermal cameras to its customers, enabling them to identify sources of heat loss around their homes in a bid to reduce their energy wastage and bills.
