The Testo 160 IAQ Indoor Air Quality Wi-Fi Data Logger can be used to measure, monitor and record indoor air quality. It is equipped with temperature, humidity, CO₂, and atmospheric pressure sensors and, therefore, is able to take readings for the following parameters:
It is possible to view the CO₂ concentration and the temperature and humidity (alternately) via the LCD display when the Testo 160 IAQ Indoor Air Quality Wi-Fi Data Logger is being powered by a mains supply. Coloured LEDs based on the traffic light system will also give an indication as to the quality of the air.
However, when the unit is reliant upon battery power it will only display the CO₂ level and the temperature and will switch the LEDs off in an effort to conserve energy and prolong the battery’s life.
Atmospheric pressure is not indicated on the Testo 160 IAQ Indoor Air Quality Wi-Fi Data Logger; these values are only available to view via the Testo Cloud. Measurements are automatically recorded to the Testo Cloud via a WLAN network, allowing the user to record and analyse indoor air quality over long periods of time.
To facilitate data logging to the Testo Cloud the user must register with saveris.net. If the user chooses to create an advanced account, he/she will be able to register up to ten users per account and will have access to advanced features such as real-time SMS/ text alarms when programmable limits have been breached.
With standard/ basic registration, the user will be alerted to threshold breaches via email in real-time. Furthermore, both standard and advanced registrations will allow the user to access recorded data and the Testo Cloud’s analysis functions at any time from any PC or internet-enabled smartphone or tablet.
As the Testo 160 IAQ Indoor Air Quality Wi-Fi Data Logger is optimised for monitoring the indoor air quality in places such as schools, nurseries, conference rooms, open plan offices, auditoriums and museums it has been designed to be discreet. To this end, it is small (82 x117 x 32mm) and can be purchased with a customisable deco-cover (NOT included) to ensure it is able to blend in with its surroundings.
